Overall quite good.
New, clean hotel. Great coffee and bagels. Very friendly staff.
Location a bit out of the way. Room has no plants or wall hangings, a bit too utilitarian.

Wonderful! Would totally stay again…but without breakfast inclusive package.
Amazing location, very spacious room. Great, hip vibe. Fantastic terrace to enjoy great coffee and people watch.

Great neighborhood, cool hotel run by friendly young people.
We loved the Shimo-Kitazawa neighborhood. There are great options for vintage shops, cafes/bakeries, and izakayas nearby. The staff at Mustard were very friendly and it was cool that you could rent records to play in your room. The coffee shop in the lobby also serves great drinks.
The room was a bit small, but a normal size for Japan.

Very Good
Location was exceptional for our needs. Felt safe. Coffee and bagels in the lobby were very convenient…. other options nearby were plentiful! Nice to have hot kettle and microwave and laundry. We had two different rooms and they are thoughtfully designed.
Bedroom was NOT that clean… even after the cleaning day. Temperature controls were a bit challenging. Room was a bit warm and hard to cool off.
