Overall quite good.
New, clean hotel. Great coffee and bagels. Very friendly staff.
Location a bit out of the way. Room has no plants or wall hangings, a bit too utilitarian.

Good
It's very nice and unique. They did design the hotel to be as comfortable as they can and the staffs are very friendly. The vinyl record player is a nice touch for those who love them.
The central aircon doesn't let cold air use in winter. This is very unfortunate. The bed is also on the smaller side but is expected of a Tokyo.

The location was amazing. Kurage bar and the coffee shop also great. The staff were nice too.
Rooms were extremely small and lacking in charm and natural day light. It wouldn't take much to put a bit more effort into the interior of the room. But the location is the best thing about this hotel.

Great neighborhood, cool hotel run by friendly young people.
We loved the Shimo-Kitazawa neighborhood. There are great options for vintage shops, cafes/bakeries, and izakayas nearby. The staff at Mustard were very friendly and it was cool that you could rent records to play in your room. The coffee shop in the lobby also serves great drinks.
The room was a bit small, but a normal size for Japan.
